Blue Opalized Petrified Wood is considered rare as the opalization process itself is not common, and the actual blue colouring is rare.  Not to mention, this stone is formed through a series of geological processes that take millions of years. 

The colours of this pendant are truly lovely.  The setting is sterling silver.
